This elegant little hat is knitted flat, on 2 needles and seamed.

The band is knitted first, with the body of the hat knitted on from stitches picked up along the side.

It is a very simple pattern, entirely suitable for a novice knitter. A nice couple of evenings in front of the ‘telly’!

It is simple to change to your favourite stitch pattern, providing the basic structure is followed.
