Fantasia Shawl
Gorgeous, etheral, fantasy lace shawl knitted in a luxurious silk/camel blend laceweight yarn for the ultimate in luxury.
A crescent shaped shawl which starts with a wide lace border. The crescent shape is achieved by working a combination of decreases and short rows in garter stitch.
It is essential to use a very loose cast on. I recommend using the long tail cast on over 2 needles. If the cast on is too tight, the shawl will not block out properly.
Size:
Inner Crescent: 88cm/34.5in
Outer Crescent: 207cm/81.5in
Depth: 52cm/20.5in
Materials:
YarnAddict Silky Camel Lace, 1 skein, 100gr/800m
3.75mm/US5 circular needles (80cm long)
Row counter
Tension:
15 stitches and 26 rows in lace pattern to measure 10x10cm/4x4in after blocking. Exact tension is not essential but may affect amount of yarn needed and final size.
Yarn can be ordered from YarnAddict.
