FANTASTIC FIT SOCKS  The sample for these socks is knitted in a  luxury yarn with very little stretch and  resilience but they fit wonderfully anyway. The secret is a little bit of ribbing  that runs down the entire foot. Use the  charts on pages 17-18 to fill in the pattern blanks.  This design includes 2 gauges: 5 sts/7 rows/“ and 6 sts/8 rows/”. Both are workable on mid-gauge machines. The first may be used on bulkies. Use #4 yarn for the first and #3 for the second. Sizes from baby size 1 to men size 16 in US shoe sizing.
