SLANTING STRIPES make an impact on this unisex scarf design by Nicki Merrall. It is knitted in rows using the entrelac technique. Stitches are cast on for the length of the scarf, and then the triangles are worked one at a time along one side, before changing direction and working the triangles along the second side. The triangles are striped, with the number of stripes in each colour changing along the length, so that pink is the dominant colour at one end and grey at the other. Finally, an i-cord edge is worked around all four sides.
