Faraway Fields is a boxy sweater that is worked from the top down. The front and back are worked separately after casting on using a provisional cast on. The collar ribbing is worked later, allowing shoulder shaping whilst working upward. The pieces are joined at the underarm and the body is knit in the round to the bottom. The shoulders are joined using backstitch. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole for the sleeves.
The colourwork pattern uses just 2 colours at any time. My colours are a suggestion only. You can use as many or as few colours as you wish. A black and white graph is included to help you choose the colours you wish to use.
The body and sleeves can be any length and the instructions show where the length can be added.
Links to colourwork techniques and weaving in your ends are provided in the pattern.
