“Farbmusik” is the German word for “Color Music”, and it’s a tribute to the owner of Farbmasche yarn shop, Jutta, who does amazing dye works.
The Farbmusik Shawl is worked top down, the pattern gives directions also for a bigger version of this shawl.

My sample (on first picture) is composed by 14 sections, it has been knit with 754.6 yd / 690 m of heavy laceweight Farbmasche 80% Merino / 20% silk (656 yd / 600 m on 3.53 oz / 100 g), and needles size 3.75 mm - US size 5 and it has a ‘more than half circle’ shape.
This pattern has been test knitted also with ten sections (slightly more than half circle), by Svetula27, and with twelve sections in fingering weight yarn, by Bea327.
