Fareham Scarf
A charming unisex scarf, easy to knit with just knits and purls. A reversible asymmetrical border and checkerboard pattern give textural interest. Shown in a lovely handpainted yarn, this scarf would look wonderful in a solid, machine-dyed yarn, too. Possible substitutes include Cascade 220, Brooklyn Tweed Loft, two strands of St-Denis Nordique, Plymouth Encore, Madelinetosh Vintage, Quince & Co. Lark, Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted, Malabrigo Rios, Rowan Lima, Swan’s Island Worsted, or any other Category 4 yarn with good stitch definition.
Finished dimension: approx. 7 x 72 inches
