The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Using a 3.5mm hook will be approx.
Horse 16cm high & 8cm wide. cow 14cm high & 9cm wide
Pig 12.5cm high & 8cm wide. sheep 14.5cm high & 9cm wide

I use stylecraft special double knit for most of my applique patterns but any double knit yarn is suitable. Gauge is not important
they look gorgeous on a baby blanket & hat set or in a shadow box for a baby gift. It looks great on a bag or wall hanging too. Ypu can add them to cards, cushions & clothing too.
