This basic market tote is knit at a large gauge for an open, net-like affect, without having to knit net! Worked in durable linen yarn, the bag is machine washable and dryable, so you can fill it with your favorite farm stand produce without worrying about keeping it safe from garden soil. The structure of the bag has a more-or-less flat bottom -- helpful for holding bakery boxes and the like -- but it will lengthen out vertically to enable you to fill the bag up with more stuff. Use it at the supermarket (or your favorite LYS) too!

Farm Stand Market Bag calls for 1 skein of Euroflax Sport Weight for the body, and 1 set of Euroflax Sport Mini Skeins (available exclusively from Mason Dixon Knitting) for the straps. The sample used a total of about 315 yards.
