Farmer and Ice Cream Cow
This is a PDF crochet/amigurumi pattern for a cute cow who has two jobs - she’s a farmer and sells ice cream in an ice cream truck. All of her accessories are removable.
For a farmer:
- straw hat (there’s a few ways you can make it - with holes or cover for cow’s ears and horns, with bow or flower as embellishments and with straw or smooth edge)
- overalls (with functional flower buttons, lots of pockets and a loop for cow’s pitchfork)
- pitchfork (which your cow can “hold” in her arm and in a loop on the back of the overalls)
For a ice cream cow:
- cap (which can be open and closed using functional buttons)
- apron (with lots of pockets and scalloped edge)
- little ice cream scoop
- mint-chocolate chip ice cream in her arm
- melting ice cream on top of the hat (this accessory is detachable so you can choose your own placement)
You can take all of them off and put them on in different ways (I’ve attached some pictures here but all of the ways are pictured in the pattern).
The cow is also designed to be more or less anatomically correct with cow’s hoofs and cute snout with nose holes (I provided two ways for making a snout so you can choose which one you like best).
Plushie may look a little complicated or intimidating but pattern is written for beginners, with a lot of pictures (93 + 110 + 62 = 265 pictures!) and detailed instructions of every step. I recommend having some experience with making plushies. I’ve included tips and tricks that you can use in other projects (like clean color change, invisible increase, invisible decrease and more!) so this can be a great project/pattern to improve crochet skills.
Note: This is a plushie so you can use any yarn weight/hook size you want.
Finished size: 20cm/7.87” but it may vary depending on your yarn and hook size
Language: English (US Crochet Terminology)
Skill: Beginner+/intermediate
