Farmer's Market Shopper
This strong and colourful bag is useful for toting market produce and more. It is designed using a non-conventional, robust yarn, that will need to be acquired from a hardware store: Bricklayers Line.
The Farmer’s Market Shopper is designed to introduce lace knitting skills and to encourage sustainable practices.
✔️Working yarn overs knitwise
✔️Decreasing using k2tog
✔️Two different cast ons: long tail and backwards loop.
Materials
• 8mm 40cm circular knitting needles
• 1 x Spear & Jackson 8 Strand Brickline (100m/ nylon)
• Notions: large stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needle
Gauge
8 sts x 10 rows = 10cm x 10cm in lace pattern.

Dear Pru
Pru Raymond is a qualified educator and creative who has been knitting since childhood. Knitting is her daily mindfulness practice, a creative outlet and an act of craftivism. She looks forward to her knitting workshops as a space for people to expand social and neural connections through creating.
