Farmhouse Pumpkin Pattern

I collaborated with my friend, Christine of Spotted Horse Design Co. to bring you this fun farmhouse style, placemat pattern. The round version of this pattern is available at the Spotted Horse Design Co.

Included with the PDF download: The written crochet instructions for the rectangular version of the placemat as well as a photo tutorial for color changes.

MATERIALS NEEDED ~

• #4 Cotton (I use I Love This Cotton)
• Approximately 120 yards MC, 70 yards for pumpkins, 10 yards for stems
• 4.25 mm (G)
• Yarn Needle

STITCH KEY

st/sts = stitch/stitches
fsc = foundation single crochet
Ch = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
Rpt = Repeat
yo = yarn over
tr bbl/bbls = treble bobble/bobbles
MC = main color
CC1 = first contrasting color. This is for the pumpkins.
CC2 = second contrasting color. This is for the stems.
FLO = front loop only
BLO = back loop only

• Advanced beginner/Intermediate pattern
• Written in US crochet terms

Example of written placemat pattern:
Row 6: Sk 1st st (same st as Ch 2), DC in 2nd st then DC in the 1st. Sk next st, DC in next st then DC in skipped st Rpt - 28 times, DC in last st, Ch 2, turn (29 Crossed DC Stitches, 1 DC)
