With this pattern you can knit up a set of farmyard animals, including a cow, goat, pig, duck and rooster.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The horns and tails are i-cord pieces which are worked on two DPNs.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)
Two 3.5mm DPNs (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and beads for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - up to 12cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
