Farnese Cowl is a sister pattern to the Farnese shawl. The cowl is designed to create the effect of a triangular shawl but is very easy to style and wear. The cowl takes its name from the amazing Farnese gardens on Palatine Hill in Rome. I was very inspired after visiting the gardens when they were in full bloom in June.
The texture on the body of the cowl is created by a garter stitch and an all-over repeat of a botanical lace pattern that is finished off with a garter stitch border. I-cord bind-off helps create a final extra touch to the edge. The Farnese Cowls pictured are knitted with mYak Baby Yak Medium which makes this cowl both very light and warm.

This design has been created in collaboration with mYak.
