The shawl is worked in a sport weight cotton yarn. It needs not be cotton, use anything that you feel comfortable with. The lace pattern is written and charted.

Difficulty level: advanced beginner (easy lace)

Yarn: Alize Cotton Gold Batik Design (55% cotton, 45% acrylic; 329m/100g; 360yds/3.53oz), 3 balls. Sample in a length of 130cm (52in) used 842m (921yds).

Needles: 3.5mm/US 4

Notions: yarn needle

Gauge: 20 stitches/38 rows in stockinette stitch = 10cm/4in.

Size: 50cm (20in) wide, can be worked to any length

Rote Felsen und blaues Meer, das ist Faro in Portugal. Möge dieses Lace-Tuch Erinnerungen an sonnige Ferien wecken, wenn die Tage einmal nicht so warm sind.

Das Tuch wird aus relativ dünnem Baumwollmischgarn gestrickt. Natürlich kann man auch andere Garne verwenden, was immer sich gut anfühlt, es muss nicht unbedingt Baumwolle sein. Das Lochmuster ist ausgeschrieben und in einer Strickschrift dargestellt.

Schwierigkeit: abenteuerlustige Anfänger (einfaches Lochmuster)
