This richly textured baby afghan looks much harder than it is. An easy ribbing makes for an interesting fabric that doesn’t roll, and borders are knitted on in up to 4 colors.

This is my go-to blanket for friends that are expecting- knit the middle in a gender neutral color and put on a different colored border once you know the sex of the baby! Is also beautiful when worked up in one color, or in deeper colors for an adult’s lapghan.
