Drawing its name from the hymn “For All the Saints” by William Walsham How and inspired by ice-blue water lapping against a snowy polar shore, Farthest Coast is a generous crescent shawlette knit from the top down. Hand-dyed yarn shines best in this accessory; stripes, simple lace, and squishy garter stitch allow colors to melt, shift, and blend together.

Sizes: 50” wingspan; 12” height.

Yarn: MC: Knit Picks-WeCrochet Hawthorne Multi (80% superwash Highland wool, 20% polyamide, 100 g/357 yards) Sellwood, 1 skein
CC: Patons Kroy Sock (75% wool, 25% nylon, 50 g/166 yards) Muslin, 1 ball

Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) circular (at least 40”)

Notions: Stitch markers; yarn needle; blocking mats, pins, and flexible blocking wires
