This pattern starts from the back under the bustline and is worked up and over to the front. The back piece should fit halfway around the doll; if not, just change the number of stitches as needed. The Elsa (blonde) doll is wearing the shrug with this pattern. Anna is wearing my first attempt, which was more work but looks about the same.
