Delightful pattern for 18”/19” Girl Dolls Halter neck glitter dress and shrug.

18”/19” will fit Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl, Our Generation..

Knitted on size 4.00 mm and 3.50 mm needles. Like most of my patterns this isn’t a difficult project, I like to design with the novice and the experienced knitter in mind!

The dress takes 50 grams of King Cole Galaxy D/K glitter wool, (lovely sequins are woven into the wool), for the one coloured dress, if you want a two tone dress you will need 25 grams of King Cole Galaxy in a contrasting shade. (Tension 22sts and 28 rows to 4”)

This charming halter necked party dress is knitted in one piece on straight needles.

The shrug is a ‘one piece’ top down knit with the body and sleeves being knitted in one piece on straight needles. It takes 25 grams of Berge de France Caline or any soft 4 ply wool in a contrast colour. (Tension 23sts and 30 rows to 4”)

Tensions given just in case you need to use another wool from your stash!.

What little girl could want more for her doll?

My Grand daughter loves her 18”Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her ‘Knitting Nanny Mo’ to design and knit some for her. This is an outfit designed for the ‘party season’!
