This pattern is written for the LK150 knitting machine (mid-gauge 6.5mm knitting machine). Pattern includes extensive written instructions (7 pages including high-resolution photographs of the hat border, crown, and ruffle flower addition). Full row counts, needle number references, and carriage positions for both cover patterns are given in easy to follow written instructions for ease of keeping track of progress. Instructions on the machine for three accessories are also included: a small flower, medium flower, and large flower. Additionally, instructions for a hand-knit flower ruffle are also included.

Recommended Tension Dial Setting: 4.5

Gauge: 22 stitches to 4” in stockinette

Sizes available: Adult Small (Medium, Large) / 19 (21, 22) inches in circumference

Materials Required:

• LK150 knitting machine (or other mid-gauge machine)
• 200 meters of worsted weight yarn
• Waste yarn in a contrasting colour of similar weight
• Ravel cord
• Lock-ring stitch markers (optional)
• 4.5 mm (US 7) x 40 cm (16”) circular knitting needle required for the hand knit flower ruffle
