This beginner friendly crochet pattern is great for last minute baby shower gifts or for a small project to use up some worsted weight scraps. Each bootie uses two colours to make a fun, striped look that’s easily changed to fit any situation. These soft slippers are great as crib slippers and for keeping tiny feet warm in trips out to the car or even when lounging around the house on a chilly winter evening. The pattern uses simple shaping to make these really easy, and they finish up with minimal seaming at the end - and all in one piece!

Testers found this pattern worked up in under an hour once they got used to the style, meaning this really is the ultimate “last minute” gift! They’re also great for small sales at craft fairs - wrap them up in ribbon and display a small cupcake tower of them.

Supplies Needed:
~ 30 - 70 yards worsted weight yarn, in 2 colours.
H (5 mm) hook or I (5.5 mm) hook, as needed for sizing.
Yarn needle (for sewing in ends)

Stitches used:
Sc, sc2tog, sc inc.
