I designed these fingerless mitts with all of these things in mind and wanted a way to showcase my collection of minis in something I was proud to show off and wear! These can be altered in so many ways! Feel free to play up the pattern! More or less color
changes, change up the sequence, make thinner or fatter stripes depending on your scraps! Make them longer! It’s all up to you! Use this pattern as your basic recipe and explore from there! The number of cast-on stitches can easily be adjusted for every member of your family.

The way this pattern is constructed, there is no thumb gusset, the pattern is the same for both mitts. The thumb hole is for either hand, super easy! No more knitting two left mitts! Lol.

This is also the PERFECT pattern for that treasured single skein of sock yarn you just haven’t been sure what to do with! Showcase it in all of its glory right on your hands!
