This is a super speedy pattern for cranking out Pussyhats as fast as possible. I have knit 8 of these so far and plan to crank out as many as I can before Saturday’s big day.

I found that the three needle bind off in three stages really makes the ears stand out nicely.

I published a fiddly way to join the round that, in my opinion, looks nicest. But you can just cast on 48 stitches and work normally if you prefer.

You can use TWO STRANDS TOGETHER of any worsted weight yarn. It’s a great way to use up bits of stuff in your stash.

ERRATA: I forgot to mention that one of the ears must be bound off PEARLWISE if you want the row of bind off stitches to be on the same side (front or back) of the hat. This .pdf is corrected to show that.
