Fat Kitty
Fat Kitty is soft and huggable and can be found in Judith Durant’s One-Skein Wonders for Babies, published by Storey Publishing. He uses one skein of Catskill Merino Worsted, a lovely, squishy yarn that comes in an ever-changing array of muted, natural colors. Fat Kitty is an easy knit. Begin by knitting a circular base, then it’s a straight tube up to the head, where the ears are shaped much as you’d shape the top of a mitten. Tail stitches are picked up and knit from the back. Then all that’s left to do is embroider a sweet face, and you’re done!
