“Father & Daughter”
This design was created with the love between a Father and Daughter in mind. I wanted to create a piece that had the solid firm sections of a fathers love and the light airy lace sections that depict the youth and openness of a childs love.
Woven together they create a bond that can’t be broken either by time or circumstance.
The colours I have used, for me represent the shades of nature in particular that of a strong tree with new life in its leaves, again depicting the strength and love of a father to daughter bond.

I have used dk yarn as the father sections and kid silk lace for the daughter.

It’s a design suitable for beginner upwards who maybe hasn’t used the fineness of lace yarn before and would like a starting stone to do so.
