Father Christmas Bauble
You can make these Cute Father Christmas decorations in three different sizes
They are knitted around ball pool balls and ping pong balls.
Small – 12.5 mm (ping pong/table tennis ball)
Medium – 17 mm (small ball pool ball, mine were from pound shops in net bags of 15.
Large – 20 mm (regular size ball pool ball which I have found in supermarkets and charity shops.)
They are a great way to recycle plastic balls.
For the eyes you can use sew on eyes, beads and sequins or you can embroider the eyes. They are designed as ornaments and not as toys but please consider safety when choosing your eyes and sew all small pieces on securely
You will need: -
your choice of ball
Oddments of double knitting yarn flesh, red, pink.
Sirdar Snowflake for beard and hat trim
2 black beads for eyes 4 mm, 5 mm or 6 mm respectively.
