This is a Father Christmas chocolate orange cover. It is knitted in the flat using 3.25mm/US 3 needles and double knit wool. I’ve used Sirdar Country Classic double knit wool in red and white. There is a tiny bit of intarsia knitting for Father Christmas’s beard. This is explained in the pattern. You can use any double knit wool for this project but size may differ. Small amounts of flesh or pink wool is required for the face and black wool for the eyes. Embroidery thread in pink and red is used for the nose and mouth.
