This pattern has two variations (both included with purchase): Fancy edges (which I and my testers have demo’d) and Plain edges (no test sample worked up for that yet).

I used about 2800 yards of DK weight for mine, though this will vary slightly with tension and type of border. Another tester used 3200 yards of 4/worsted weight. Fairly even distribution between colors.

Easy if you are familiar with overlay crochet technique, and works up pretty fast!
