Faux Bow Hairband is knit in garter stitch with built-in i-cord border and faux bow in front. It’s intended to be the perfect size to fit around the head and hold the hair back, but also doubles as a loose-fitting ascot style scarf. This pattern is easily adjustable for thicker yarn and/or smaller heads. The piece is knit in a long strip with increases on one end and decreases on the other to create a tapered bow shape. The piece is then folded together and sewn in place with a secondary loop to shape the faux bow and hold it in place.
