Faux Cable Afghan
by Ouma Ralie
This is such an easy blanket to make! If you can knit and purl, you can make this blanket. The pattern creates a lovely texture that looks almost like a cable pattern, but rest assured, no cable techniques are used! It is simply made up of knit and purl stitches.
The finished size of the blanket is approximately 140cm x 150cm (55 x 59 inches). The blanket is knitted in one piece, so circular needles are advised.
You will need 10 skeins of 100g each to complete the blanket in this Aran weight yarn (100g = 170 metres). Most worsted weight yarns will give a similar end product (4 Medium).
The last page of the pattern is a printer friendly, easy reference for the main body of the blanket.
