This design was born because I had a similar scarf from a department store once. I lost it or gave it away, and wanted a replacement!

Good pattern for beginner brioche because it’s only one color and before going into the pattern, there is a section explaining how to do the Brioche Stitch.

Skills necessary to complete this project:

• Long tail cast on
• Knitting flat
• Brioche Stitch (one color)

Gauge Notes
Ravelry is very limiting with gauge input options; here is the actual/easier way to measure this pattern:
7 sts = 3 inches in Brioche / Row gauge 5 rows = 2 inches in Brioche

Finished measurements (approx.):
8 inches wide x 60-65 inches long
(9 inches wide at faux fur section)

Important note about the yarn! - My sample used almost the full amount of yarn listed (only 5g or less of the faux fur yarn was left when finished). If you are a loose knitter, you will need to buy more.
