The Faux Knit Potholder is a double layered potholder that feels plush and soft to the touch! This beginner-friendly pattern can be adjusted to any size square or rectangle and can be turned into a dishcloth, facial washcloth, placemat, cup coaster, mug rug, or more. It has a small hanging loop in its design. It can easily be customized with different yarn colors, though it also looks great in a solid color. These potholders make lovely home decor, housewarming gifts, Christmas holiday gifts, and Mother’s Day gifts.

The PDF pattern includes some progress photos as well as accompanying video tutorials for some parts to help guide you through the crochet process.

Recommended potholder size: 7” x 7”
Note: This pattern can be adjusted to any size square or rectangle.

100% cotton medium weight 4 yarn (I used Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8)
6mm crochet hook
Scissors
