I designed a double knit headband with a Nordic Rose pattern and I love the headband. The problem is that many people are intimidated by double knitting, so I decided to also write the pattern using two color stranded knitting. The original Nordic Rose Headband was influenced by the strong Nordic influence in the area I grew up. Nordic Rose pattern has been on many garments and it is a design I have always loved. I love how the semisolid of the roseblush yarn patterns while the pepper anchors the headband. The headbands are knit in the round, so you find it very addictive and you will want to keep knitting one more row to watch the pattern form.
