This sweater is knitted bottom up in the round
The front is knitted with a lace design but as it is knitted in the round, there are plenty of ‘rest rows/rounds’

The sweater is divided for the sleeves and the front and back panels then knitted separately before being joined at the shoulder seams

The neck ribbing is then picked up and knitted in the round before the sleeve stitches are picked up and each sleeve knitted in the round

This is knitted with 4ply merino (although any 4ply wool would work) and a lace weight mohair

The combination of merino and mohair knitted on 4.5mm needles gives a beautiful soft and airy fabric although it is still lovely and warm
