Materials
• Yarn: (Weight 3, fine) Using 2 strands held together; Red Heart Anne Geddes Baby Yarn. 4 skeins needed for 1 blanket, 2 for a hat.
• Hook: J, or size needed for specified gauge

Sizing: Measurements are approximated, subjects may vary.

Hat Gauge: 4 HDc Sts = 1.25”, 2 HDc rows = 1”
o 6-12m: 15” wide x 7” tall
o 1-3y: 17” wide x 7.5” tall
o 3-5y: 19” wide x 8.5” tall

Blanket Gauge: 4 Dc Sts = 1.25”, 2 Dc rows = 1”
o Large: 30” tall x 24” wide
o Medium: 27” tall x 22” wide
o Small: 24” tall x 19” wide

Pattern Key
• St / Sts: Stitch / Stitches
• Sk: Skip
• Sl St: Slip Stitch
• Ch / Chs: Chain / Chains
• SC: Single Crochet
• HDc: Half Double Crochet
• Dc: Double Crochet

Notes
• The nature of this pattern will cause the blanket to appear stretched; so finished product measurements may be misleading.
• Two small slits are worked into this design to make it ideal for strollers and car seats!
• HDc Sts are represented by 2 or 3 Chs depending on where they are worked; for greatestest appearance. Pattern directions will clarify accordingly.
• Directions for embellishments and color changes are not provided, but may easily be added to taste.
