Skill Level: Beginner

Requires knowing: knit stitch; purl stitch; kfb (for optional thumb sleeve); simple whip-stitching.

I made these because I wanted a quick pair of mitts that left my fingers completely free, yet kept the chill off. These fit the bill!

My brother tried these on and really liked them, so these are good for both genders!

This pattern can be used in any way, so long as it is not sold. If you decide to use it as a teaching tool, or in your yarn shop, I’d be delighted to know, though!

I would also like to see any suggestions and variations on this pattern.
