Fun to make, really fun to wear! The pattern begins at the ribbing and works toward the tiny point. You can make it quickly on size 6 needles! A fabulous gift would be the book and the hat together!

My grandchildren (boy, age 2, and girl, age 4) enjoy with the book “Russell the Sheep” by Rob Scotton. They absolutely love it! I have made them both a hat that closely resembles the hat that Russell wears throughout the book. If you have kids or grandkids, check out this book - it’s too cute!

The hat is made from Cascade 220 Superwash, a good all around wool at a great price. It’s machine washable - a must for kids items! This hat works up quickly and there’s a plushy pompom at the end (just like Russell’s hat!).

It will fit an 18 - 21” head circumference, toddler to child size.
