Favose
Favose means “Honeycombed”.
This hat is a really fun, cable knit that reminiscent of the shadows inside of a bee’s nest.
Worsted weight yarn: 200-220yds.
Knitting needles: (You can use dpns, or circulars for magic loop or 2 circs)
US7/4.5mm
US8/5.0mm (If you knit tightly you may want to use a US9/5.5mm)
Gauge: 6sts/inch in stitch pattern
Sizes: Small: 16-18 inches
Medium: 19-21 inches
Large: 22-24 inches
There are two brim options to pick from, Double Brim or Standard Brim.
Note: The cable pattern draws in quite a bit, so be sure to use a smaller needle for the
brim for either brim.
