Favourite sweater mountain roses
The length on this sweater is nearly the same in all sizes, the differences are in the width and the arms. If you wish an longer sweater all you have to do is to knit a few centimetres longer before you cast off under the arms or knit more rows between the pattern and the start of the shoulder reductions.
Needles: 5 (8 US) – 80 (and 60) cm and 40 cm for the arms
Yarn: Soave from Lane Mondial
Sizes: XS-S (M-L) XL-XXL
Yarn requirements (number of balls):
Colour 1 body and arms 976 : 4 (4) 5
Colour 2 mountain roses on arms 977 : 1 ball for all
Colour 3 base colour in part with mountain roses on body 981: 1 ball for all
Colour 4 upper part 579 : 2 balls for all
Tension: lying at without stretching – 18 stitches of stocking stitch with 1 thread of Soave on 5 needles in stocking stitch is 10 cm width, and 26-27 rows are 10 cm high. We recommend you knit a trial square before starting.
Measurements: NB all measurements are approximate and will depend on your tension. Also be aware that all measurements are made at without stretching. Stretching will make all measure- ments relatively longer. REMEMBER ALSO TO ADAPT LENGTH TO YOUR OWN HEIGHT
