Pattern is adapted from Fornicating Deer Chart by Anne Rutten; wording pattern is copyright by yours truly. The request was made on Etsy for the “F” word to be incorporated into a fornicating deer scene. Knit quickly with ribbed brim and stranding afterwards, beanie-style fit.

Sizes: S, ML (XL)

Yarn: Color MC and Color CC: approximately 100 yds / 91 m (110 yds / 100 m) of each
For Size S*: KnitPicks Swish DK or similar DK-weight yarn and work a Size ML pattern
For ML (XL): WoolEase 238 yd / 218 m in 3.5 oz / 100 g or similar worsted weight

Gauge:
Size S*: 22 st / 28 rows in st st; 23 st / 28 rows in LBJ stranding on larger needles with DK-weight yarn
Sizes ML (XL): 18 st / 24 rows in st st; 20 st / 24 rows in LBJ stranding on larger needles with worsted weight yarn. Please note that LBJ stranding does not generally cause as much puckering and distortion/size changes as regular stranding, depending on user.
