These wonky, cabled and textured mitts are an adventure all on their own. The cable panel is off kilter and skewed in the most wonderful way. Each mitt has its own chart as they mirror each other.
Size: One
Length – 8.5-9”/20-22cm Width- 6.5”/17cm circumference
Materials:
Yarn: (shown) Poppy Yarn and Fibre Highwood sock in Wickham (420 yards/115 grams)
Recommended- 60-70 grams of any solid or semi solid fingering weight yarn
Needles: US 1.5 (2.5mm) needles of your choice - DPNs, Long circular (for magic loop), or 9” circulars. Needle size can be altered to change the final size of the mitts. For smaller mitts, go down in needle size, and for larger mitts go up in needle size.
Notions: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends; Cable needle, Stitch holder or scrap yarn to hold stitches.
Gauge: 10 stitches/inch, 11 rows/inch in stockinette
