Fearann Cowl
About:
The word Fearann is pronounced Far-oon and means homestead in Gaelic. It was the inspiration for the Fearann Cowl. I put into this cowl all of the love that was present in the little thatched cottage my mom grew up with her 9 brothers and sisters. There was always a peat fire burning. And lots of sheep. That cottage may have been small, but it was filled with love. And I hope that the same will be said about this cowl. That it will keep you or your knit-worthy recipient warm and cozy.
Much thought was put into making this cowl a relaxing experience for you. Colorwork charts are offered in both light on dark and dark on light so that you don’t have to try and switch them in your head!
This colorwork cowl is a fast and engaging knit, that you will not be able to put down. You will be saying, ‘just one more row’. Designed in two colors, it will allow you to play with color and imagine all of the variations that are possible with this fun knit. It’s easy enough for a confident beginner knitter but engaging enough for an advanced one. It’s a quick stash-busting project available in one size. This is a piece that can be reached for time and again.
