These Feather & Fan Fixation Socks are very comfortable and stretchy.

I give two options for the heel, my new star heel that I unvented (an easy afterthought heel that is very comfortable, replaceable & helps prevent pooling in variegated yarns) or a conventional slip stitch heel flap.

Includes a photo tutorial for the star heel.

The star toe is very easy (fits nicely, no grafting).

The socks can be made in a variegated or solid color. Also try the striped cuff option adding a small amount (20 yards) of contrast solid color.

You will have yarn leftover so you could make the cuffs longer (or wider), if you wish.

Sizes: small, medium & large.

If you don’t have Fixation or another cotton/elastic yarn, you can make these with a dk weight yarn.
