Pattern works for either DK, Sport OR Fingering weight yarns! DK weight will give a slightly denser mitt, while fingering and sport will be more delicate.

Last summer, I was trying to figure out the best gift to give my sister for her graduation, and being that I was completely clueless, I did what any sister would do – I asked her what she wanted and told her the budget to stay under. She emailed me later that week with her discovery. She had stumbled upon a pattern on Ravelry that was a very pretty pair of fingerless mitts, however, she didn’t like the extra ridges and wanted them to be more fitted. So, like any knitter, I looked at the pattern and said “I can make this better”.

The pattern is written in english, with no specific gauge given. However, the best way to tell if it’s going to fit properly, is, when you’re done with the ribbing, check to see if it goes at least 80% of the way around the part of your arm that it will be worn at.

Additionally, I am capable of translating the pattern into French. I will translate upon request and post at a later date.
