Feather and Fan Jumper in Three Tones
by Table Talk
This pattern is
available for free.
It seems that feather and fan never loses its appeal, for I have had a number of requests lately for another design in this popular stitch. This two-ply jumper, with its fashionable high neck, is carried out in three tones, and the knitter can choose shades to suit her personal needs. The original, pictured here, is in three shades of green.
Material Required:
To avoid unsightly stretching, 3-ply or 4-ply wool should be used for the basque and cuffs. 3 oz. 3-ply dark green, 1 oz. each 2-ply dark green and mid. green, and 2½ oz. pale green Lincoln Mills super wool.
1 pair No. 10 and 1 pair No. 11 needles. If a circular needle is not available, use four No. 10 needles for collar.
Size: To fit 32-34 inch bust.
