About:
This is a lovely snuggly hat, with an easy twisted stitch pattern that was inspired by feathers that brushes up the hat. Worked flat you work a 10 stitch repeat across, then seam the hat at the end. The pattern is both charted and written, so you can work in your most desired way.
Recommended Yarn: DK / 8ply weight
100% Merino yarn. Sample was knitted in Touch Yarns 8ply Merino.
Gauge:
Knit in pattern worked flat, 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10cm / 4” inches (4mm needles)
Meterage: Approximately
If you choose a double brim you will need to allow for an extra 20% more yarn than approximate measurements below.
Head Circumference and Meterage:
The finished hat will have approximately 4cm / 1.5” negative ease.
