I love short rows. They are so versatile. In this case I added them to the end of the row. I thought they looked like feathers. I also thought it would be nice for baby to learn colors from this blanket. Pick primary colors and use it as a teaching aid as baby grows. This is an easy pattern and I had fun designing and knitting it.

The dimensions of this blanket are 36 x 32, but it is easy to change the width and and length to whatever dimensions you would like.
