Feathers is a baby blanket pattern made from a simple colourwork chart. It is knitted on a circular needle as a single colourwork panel with a crochet edge recommended.

To complete this project, you will need approximately 250gm of 4-ply yarn (625m), comprising:

• about 50gm of the detail colour and
• about 250gm of the background colour

The smooth finish of 4-ply cotton provides for a fine, lightweight result. The project can also be made using wool and/or a thicker yarn and larger needles, all of which will produce a heavier blanket.

The finished size should be approximately 42 x 49cm.

The chart for this blanket can easily be adapted into other patterns and garments.
