Have you been wanting to try Spincycle Yarns without making a huge investment?
Do you have one special skein of handspun or other beautiful yarn you’ve been wanting to use?
Have you been wanting to try the Feathers pattern?
Do you need to make a gazillion gifts as fast as your needles can move?

Feathers Lite is the answer to all your problems!

This is a modified version of my Feathers pattern--modified to be a single-sided cowl. You start with ribbing, do a small amount of colorwork feathers, and end with ribbing. It’s a great chance to try out lots of different color combinations. It’s a great way to make lots of gifts in a short time, with slightly less than two skeins of yarn.

You’ll need 220 yards of DK or sport weight in a semi-solid or solid for the feather outlines and ribbing, and less than one skein (180 yards) of Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool (or Nocturne) for the feathers. And of course you can substitute any yarns of your choice, including using up scraps!
