Lightweight and warm, lacy but not “fancy,” the Featherweight Wrap is as easy to knit as it is to wear. Made in a Merino and cashmere blend, this wrap is a touch of luxury that will be welcome in cold weather.

The Lace Ridge Stitch pattern is completely reversible, so it will look great no matter how it’s wrapped. Choose between two sizes: a scarf or a shawl. The stitch count nearly doubles in Rows 1 and 8. The extra stitches are decreased away in Rows 3 and 10. The long sides of the wrap have a slipped stitch edging. This stitch pattern produces a fabric with a lot of dimension. To preserve the cuddly quality of the shawl, do not stretch aggressively when blocking.
